I'll be straight. In the EU referendum on 23rd June 2016 I voted to remain. Boris Johnson told us after Brexit we would "prosper like never before". This blog will track what this means in reality over the coming months and years as we watch the slow motion geopolitical earthquake that is Brexit break the nation and lead us down a path to penury or humiliation. The BBC are this morning reporting that a market research firm GfK, which specialises in consumer confidence surveys, has carried out a snap on-line poll and found confidence fell by the sharpest drop in 21 years (HERE).
