Nigel Adams is my local MP and a committed leave campaigner. He has been described as Boris Johnson's campaign manager for the job of prime minister and presumably was looking for a ministerial position as a reward when BoJo got the job he craved for so long.
I think his ministerial career will have to be delayed a bit.
In the 23rd June issue of our local newspaper Mr Adams and another local MP has a full page ad carrying the usual Vote Leave claims including the spending of billions of pounds extra on the NHS, an Australian style points system for immigrants and various other things (see below)
So, when 2020 comes around and we are still mired in the mess Mr Adams helped to create in return for a bit of career advancement you know who to blame. He said every job lost is a family affected yet we have a near record low unemployment of 5% and the experts predict a slowdown or even a recession if we voted Brexit. We'll check on what happens from now on to see if they were "scaremongering".
