The Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) has just been published for the three months to June and it had risen to 52.10 (HERE). Any figure above 50 means the economy is expanding. The last number published in April was 50.10 so quite an increase in confidence. But nearly all the figures came in before June 23rd.
We wait to see what happens when the figures are produced in September. It will be an indicator of how much confidence has been boosted (or not) by Brexit and will show us if we are prospering like never before.
